thoughts on one month

Taking a little downtime after a hard day of writing and debugging code, I've stopped to think a little bit about what the past month (now a month and two days) has meant to me.

Just remember, don't wreck the scale for everyone on Valentine's Day.

I'm a few years older than you. Worked in computers for 40 years and married to the right girl for 43. But life came together for me on September 6 when I dropped dead on my bike. Sudden Cardiac Death is 100% fatal and I woke up. The new pacemaker is great and I have ridden over 100 miles a week for 111 weeks now. But bugs, you know, spiders and beetles, baby lizards and little children get a different kind of attention now. I say hi to many more strangers. I kiss all those pretty ladies and we all love it. Life is good. Enjoy.

You prove to me that chivalry is NOT dead! Brandon, you restore and increase the faith in me that there are Godly men who appreciate Godly women and that it's possible for a man to actually appreciate a woman just the way she is. Thank you for sharing your personal thoughts with everyone here. You have no idea, NO IDEA, just how much it ministers to others. God bless you for it!

psst! Bethany, you can find O'Charley's Nutrition Facts on DietFacts.com. :) Great thoughts, Brandon. Love your style -- warm and honest. Best wishes to you for continued happiness.
