Here are some more inside tidbits into the inner me. Or something like that.
15 things that you might or might not know about me:
- I have a twin sister.
- Favorite foreign sport: Australian Rules Football. I haven't gotten to see a game on TV in many years, though.
- My flavor is mocha.
- When we get a house, our first pet will most likely be a chocolate Labrador.
- I'm relatively sure that I keep Dr Pepper in business.
- Autumn is my favorite season.
- Can't draw to save my life, but I can do pretty well for myself with photographs and Fireworks.
- I like peanut butter and cinnamon sandwiches, especially on toast.
- I am an Alabama Crimson Tide fan. I have been so since 1985 - the year of "The Kick" - the first game I can remember watching. I am also a Florida Gators fan, but that's only been since I learned that I'd be attending there - April, 2002.
- Favorite card game: bridge.
- When I was young, I wanted to be a game show host.
- I still watch cartoons. I probably always will. Favorite: old Tex Avery cartoons.
- Number of times I let the phone ring before I pick up: 2.
- I have strange purchasing habits. For instance, I will not buy a CD unless I know and like three songs on it. Also, I have three qualifications for buying tennis shoes.
- Under $60
- Only neutral colors
- Can't be Nikes
- Apparently, in my pre-married life, I tended to fall for smart girls. Kelly's a National Merit Scholar, and of the ones before her, three were valedictorian of their high school class, one was a salutatorian, and the other two were in the top ten. At least one was a National Merit Scholar.
either/or
- Red or blue? if it's crimson, then red. Otherwise, blue.
- Mac or PC? PC all the way, baby!
- Golf or bowling? golf, although it's hard to find time and the budge to play it consistently. But bowling's fun too.
- Coke or Pepsi? Coke, although I like Dr Pepper better than either.
- Cats or dogs? dogs. Definitely. Dogs are one of the few examples of unconditional love that this world knows.
- Caedmon's Call or dc Talk? Caedmon's, although, unlike dc Talk, I've never seen them in concert.
- Calvin or Hobbes? Calvin, although I identify with Hobbes more.
- Ford or Chevrolet? Chevy, somewhat by default. I grew up in a Chevrolet family. Whenever I buy a car, I'll get whatever I happen to like at the time.
- Loved and lost or never loved at all? I'm going to have to go with Alfred Lord Tennyson on this one.
- Pencils or pens? I'm a pencil person. I make too many mistakes to use a pen that much.
- Chocolate or vanilla? definitely chocolate.
- Alabama or Auburn? Do you even have to ask? Shame...
- Phone call or e-mail? There's something about the human voice.
- A picture or a thousand words? The words. In the pen of a talented writer, a thousand words conjures up much more than one picture.
- Toy Story or Toy Story 2? 2, because the graphics were that much better and I liked the storyline more.
- Calculus or Physics? Pass. Okay...if I must choose, physics, because you can see its application in-class. You'll see it in calculus eventually...just not in the class itself.
- Star Wars or Star Trek? - Star Trek. I haven't even seen all six Star Wars movies yet. They all kinda fall into the "guilty pleasure" category now, though...
