So why "pressing on..."? Why that particular verse? Well, I once heard a lesson on giving your all to God. It reminded me that everything that I do on this earth should be done to His glory (1 Corinthians 10:31)...including this web site. If I'm not working on this site, and any other one that I work on, for Him, what am I doing it for?
That understood, I decided that I was going to redesign my site...I needed a passage that reflected the way that I felt concerning this page and all other things in my life. I decided upon Philippians 3:14..."I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." The previous passage talked about forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. That's what I'm trying to do, every day. "Pressing on..." was the snippet that I grabbed from the verse...and so the page's name.
