1. Staying awake in class is probably a good thing as far as grades go, but it really makes the time drag, especially at 8 AM.
2. I think Buffy the Vampire Slayer wears the ugliest sunglasses in the free world. The producers probably make her do this in order to offset her complete hotness and keep me from drooling on the TV screen and causing a short circuit.
