(01-14) I think it's really funny when people look their dog right in the eye and give them a long, serious speech and somehow think the dog actually understands what they're talking about. Today, for instance, when Angel was being bad, I got right in her face and explained that I know she had just been out, she had already been fed, and that she was just carrying on to try and get attention, and that I was busy and couldn't give her any attention right then, so she needed to lay down and take a nap or go play. I could have just as easily explained to her the inherent differences between procedural programming languages and object-oriented programming languages, and as long as I had used the correct tone, she would have received the message just fine.
