I've had an account there for like 10 years, and then all of a sudden a few weeks ago I get a flier from them that, if you read it closely enough, indicated that I would be charged a $40 Account Maintenance Fee at the end of the quarter if my balance was not over a certain amount. Since I was right under that amount, I didn't worry, and transferred in some extra money on Thursday night. Low and behold, they had evaluated the balances on Wednesday (does March 23 sound like the end of the quarter to you?), and charged me the $40. This is no way to treat a customer, and I will be moving to Scottrade as soon as possible.
