What I Thought In October 2002

« September 2002 | Main | November 2002 »

(10-30) I think I'm a little freaked out...there's this weird blue thing outside, and then this weird light everywhere....oh wait, I remember, that's the sky and the sun!

(Editor's Note: For those of you who don't live in Birmingham, it's been cloudy for like a month...)

(10-29) I think President Bush does not realize how many votes he lost by saying "War Eagle" last week while on a visit to Auburn.

(10-27) I think you have no idea how old it makes me feel to say that we're picking out a refrigerator and a washer and dryer this weekend.

(10-27) I think I can't use any of the algorithms I learned in college in my job, because neither COBOL nor RPG allow recursion. I also think that only Brandon has any idea what that means.

(10-25) I think the Eastern time zone is the worst time zone ever!

(10-23) I think for the last few years I've said I couldn't care less about the World Series, but this year's edition has proven me wrong.

(10-19) I think the Ole Miss players are probably ragging their punter with things like "You got out-kicked by a guy with a torn ACL" and "Maybe we should tear up your knee and see what happens".

(10-19) I think that when Santonio Beard brings his A game, he's darn near unstoppable.

(10-18) I think if I hear the word "botox" one more time, I'm going to go crazy.

(10-15) I think it's really nice how holidays and vacation days always seem to come at just the right time, when you need them the most.

(10-14) I think Pepsi Blue is pretty nasty, but Dr. Pepper Red Fusion is okay.

(10-11) I think the only thing worse than pop-up ads on web pages (I can't use Mozilla at work) is ads with sound. GEE, THANKS FOR TELLING THE WHOLE OFFICE I WAS SURFING THE NET...

(10-10) I think it's funny how people (including myself) pay attention to 10-day weather forecasts, even though we know it's pretty much completely a guess.

(10-09) I think Brandon needs to update his website more often. Come on, since when does school get priority over the website? What's up with that?

(10-09) I think if I had worked in an office back in the days of dot-matrix printers, I would have gone crazy from the noise.

(10-08) I think that every time I see one of those new Macintosh commercials, I have to resist the urge to yell at the TV. They are complete and total lies.

(10-05) I think I've always wondered whether or not you're supposed to tip the girls at Sonic. What do y'all think?

(10-05) I think that even though they beat us, Georgia is still extremely overrated.

(10-02) I think I still find it hard to believe that CBS is the highest-rated network, and I don't watch a single show on it.
